Noteworthy
Any works that are considered to be Art are welcome on release01. “What is art?” In our eyes whether someone’s work is art does not relate to the question “Who are you?” We believe anyone can make art, regardless of education, job, position, and career. Our experience has shown that often the most creative people have only discovered later in their lives, that they are artists. Nevertheless there are certain criteria an artwork has to fulfil. Ask yourself the following questions before you become a member on release01, these are our judgment criteria:
Art – ITCOS
Identifiable – Is your work identifiable as artwork/object/action, i.e. what context have you documented it in?
Theme – is there a common thread, a theme, have you dealt with an issue or been thinking about something or do you want to bring attention to a certain issue? Can you explain why you created your work?
Creative – does your work communicate your idea creatively?
Organized – have you thought about context, i.e. the medium you use and about the way your work is being presented?
Special – what is special about your work, why do you want
to publish it?

He is best known for his installations that feature large numbers of nude people posed in artistic formations. In these images the nude form becomes abstract due to the sheer number so closely placed together. Known as installations, they are often situated in urban locations throughout the world. He also has done some "Beyond The City" woodland and beach installations and still does individuals and small groups occasionally."] |
